TERMS OF SERVICE

Nantucket Bay Scallop orders are fulfilled on the day of harvest. Orders may be cancelled if scallops are not available for any reason.

The Nantucket Bay Scallop Trading Company WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DELAY'S DUE TO WEATHER ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN RECEIVED BY FEDERAL EXPRESS. SUCH DELAYS WILL BE DIRECTED TO FED EX DIRECTLY ( www.fedex.com ). ALL PACKAGES ARE PACKAGED IN A SHIPPING COOLER/CONTAINER WITH ICE PACKS TO PROVIDE TEMPERATURE PROTECTION FOR OVERNIGHT SHIPMENT FOR UP TO 48 HOURS.

If this is a gift, we suggest letting the “receiver” know about your gift and when to expect it to insure the items are brought into the home on a timely basis.

The Nantucket Bay Scallop Trading Company cannot and will not be responsible for an incorrect delivery address which causes non-delivery or incorrect delivery, due to the address given by the orderer.

If you are unsure of your recipient's plans, we recommend a gift certificate.

We strongly suggest letting the “receiver” know about your gift on the day it is to be received to insure the items are brought into the home or business on a timely basis to insure freshness.

All shipments will be sent Fed Ex Next Day Air service to guarantee freshness. All packages containing fresh product should be prepared in a timely fashion or frozen for future use.

Nantucket Bay Scallops are harvested between November 1st and March 31 annually. Our facility will be processing orders between November 1st and December 31, 2013.
