The Nantucket Lobster Trap

For nearly four decades The Nantucket Lobster Trap has held a unique position amongst the island’s extensive restaurant community. With our roots in the commercial seafood industry, we at The Trap have continued our commitment to traditional New England seafood. Locally owned and operated, we pride ourselves on providing the freshest product possible. Our twelve hundred gallon tanks allow your lobsters to be alive as you order!

Our inside and outside bars offer full service and are both open for dining. Our patio area is a great place to take advantage of our full raw bar menu and sample our wine list, house cocktails and/or craft beers.

We are open for dinner seven days a week from 5pm until 10pm. Our patio opens at 4pm for drinks and appetizers. We offer an early bird dinner seating on the patio from 5pm until 6:30pm, however from 6:30pm until 10pm dinner is only served in our inside dining room.
